How does Proktive APM+ work?
Proktive APM+ is a lubricating oil that interacts with metals to create a lubricating film with superior resistance to extreme pressure, friction and temperature. APM+ are micro lubrication molecules negatively charged, so they bond to the metal forming a thin layer of oil that protects the metal to give it greater protection.
Is Proktive APM+ an oil?
Yes, it is a lubricating oil that, in combination with mineral or synthetic oil, grease or other products, reinforces its lubricating capacity. Proktive APM+ is a high performance lubricant.
Is Proktive APM+ an additive?
APM+ is NOT an additive. Due to its composition it is only added in a small percentage to the oil, confusing it with the additives, however it is enough to bond to the metals and protect them, and although the percentage used is small, it is enough to achieve excellent results. Technically it is not an additive, because it does not change the composition of the oil, it is added to the oil to reach the metals. It is a superior lubricant. It provides greater and better protection than conventional oils, synthetic oils and any additives.
Why do I need to treat metals?
The function of any lubricating oil or grease is to reduce the friction generated by the rubbing of two metals. When using any oil, the friction is reduced, but it is not eliminated. By their nature the oils are positively charged like metals, so they repel each other. Proktive APM+, because of its negative charge, will bond to metal surface and will be strongly attracted to critical points of higher friction, protecting them against metal wear and heat.
Does Proktive APM+ prevent friction?
Friction is the rubbing that occurs when there is a sliding between two bodies. Friction cannot be eliminated; however it can be reduced and controlled. Proktive APM + reduces friction up to 51% more than common lubricants.
Which are the negative effects of friction?
* Metal wear. The useful life of our metals will be less.
* Temperature. The higher the friction, the higher the temperature. Lubricating Oils life and performance is affected with the temperature.

How and how often should I use Proktive APM+?
Proktive APM+ must be added at every oil change. When draining the oil, Proktive APM+ is drained along with the oil, except for the one that is already bonded to the metal surface of your engine or equipment, so it needs to be reinforced with new product to ensure the protection of your metals. The amount of Proktive APM+ added varies according to each application and product. Consult each product to obtain the appropriate application.
Can I combine Proktive with synthetic oil?
It can be added to mineral or synthetic oils. In laboratory tests the best results of friction reduction, temperature and wear occurred using synthetic oils, however these results are not so significant as to justify the high cost of synthetic lubricants. Proktive APM + significantly enhances lubricating quality of every oil, however it is always advisable to use lubricating oils of recognized brands to ensure a better performance.

Can I use Proktive in my new car?
Of course. The newer the better. It will preserve the life of the metal from the beginning. Proktive protects metals by tripling the life of your engine. It does not affect, violate or cancel the manufacturer's warranties.
